Welcome 2008!

Here we have another new beginning,
Another chance to be what we are not.
Praised be those who recognize the rot,
Portion out the guilt, and go on living.
Years change far more frequently than we,

Nor are our changes more than painted screens,
Each placed to maximize our meager means,
Windows on a world that none can see.

Yet, truth be told, we know well what’s within.
Each resolution fails to touch the heart,
As in the end we are, as at the start,
Remorseful reprobates, half hope, half sin.

Happy Holidays!!

Here's Advance WISHES from me.. to all of you for All Happiness and Joy in Life!

and a Special song...

"The Symphony of Christmas"

A Wonderful Voice!!

I got my new Sony Ericsson phone lately. One ringtone [vocal] always attracted me.. with a sweet child voiced song "You'r my Honeybunch...", I had always been in search of the source of the voice and the song.

(As I always do) Thanx to Internet n' era of creative initiatives like Social networking, Discussion forums, content sharing concepts especially like YouTube. I finally got succeeded in form of finding "The Cuppy Cake Song" sung by Amy Castle at age of 3 yrs for her Parent's written and directed album "Balloons" on Feb 26, 1994.

You're my Honeybunch, Sugarplum
Pumpy-umpy-umpkin, You're my Sweetie Pie
You're my Cuppycake, Gumdrop
Snoogums-Boogums, You're the Apple of my Eye
And I love you so and I want you to know
That I'll always be right here
And I love to sing sweet songs to you
Because you are so dear

Interestingly opening history of this video...
"The Original Cuppycake Video" was first uploaded to the web on YouTube on November 9th 2006. Over the next 60 days, it was played over 47,000 times, averaging only about 783 plays per day. Beginning on January 9th, 2007, it was featured on YouTube and just 5 days later, by the evening of January 14th,it had been seen over 1,008,000 times, averaging over 192,000 plays per day during that period! The total number of plays on YouTube to date of writing this post (Dec 21, 07) is 3,872,901.

Here's another video from same session some bloopers and out-takes :)...recorded in her Parent's home studio...

I found myself really happy finally to find it after long time and to know that she is now 17 yrs Teenage Girl actively working as Actress on television/movies, publishing her own edited videos you her own YouTube channel with name SandCastleinc along with her friend Erin.

Yepee... Cartoons!!

In my childhood, [as like other kids] I was always attracted to Disney Movies. Especially n' essentially DuckTales would be counted among the best ones, like Tom n' Jerry , Talespin and Alladin. For me, stories for DuckTales and Talespin are quite interesting.

May be, It would present me childish saying but, "I still love to spend my time with Cartoons!"

Check out this Video, It will definitely make you remember your childhood...

Missing the words to Sing Along, Let me help you...

Life is like a hurricane here in Duckburg
Race cars, lasers, aeroplanes
It's a duck blur
Might solve a mystery
Or rewrite history
Ducktales! Woo Hoo!
Everyday they're out there makin'
Ducktales! Woo Hoo!
Tales of daring, new, bad and good luck tales
D-d-d-danger lurks behind you
There's a stranger out to find you
What to do just grab on to some
Ducktales! Woo Hoo!
Everyday they're out there makin'
Ducktales! Woo Hoo!
Tales of daring, new, bad and good
Ducktales! Woo Hoo!
Not pony tales, or cotton tales no
Ducktales! Woo Hoo!

If you agree to me, then you would Love to download all episodes of DuckTales.
[Just leave a comment with your mail-id, I'll send you the whole download links for abt 100 episodes [actually I tried to put here, but its not getting fit]

Enjoy!!!!

a small Tech Bite: Folder lock

I'm sure, you would be using or looking for any kind of lock folder utility to prevent access to your private [;)] data folders! Web is overburdened with hell such of softwares, but my only concern was, If the software gets corrupted [by any reason], Is it possible to recover the locked folders, I found my answer in NO!!. The reason is, Whenever any software locks the folders, it either encrypt the content or while accessing replace the access event with its own scripts [generally the password] and the best one hides its actual location and re-directs somewhere else.

All possibilities leads to failure in recovering the folder in case folder lock software which only has those details of lock, gets corrupted.

While exploring on net, I found one software for Folder Locking, which is simple and easy to use.
Download Folder Lock

I have already tested the software on my system with all possibilities. Even if the software gets corrupted or gets un-installed by mistake, we can easily recover all locked folders by a simple Windows trick. Even the folder can be locked through that trick (this software also uses the same trick to lock folders) but its more easy for you to use the software, instead of the trick process.

Advantages of the software are,
1. Easy to use, and locks the access to the folder.
2. Provides an interface to manage all locked folders as a single list, protected by a global password.

and the Disadvantages,
1. Folder is locked to access, but not hidden. it is visible to anyone.
2. Even if folder is locked, it can be deleted by anyone, as visible.

Both the disadvantages can be overcome by one way, By Hiding the folder (but Its optional, not mandatory). If the folder will not be visible then difficult for anyone to delete it. It can be done by the following process,

Step 1:
Open My Computer -> Tools (button on top toolbar) -> Folder Options -> View (one tab in top bar) -> Under Advanced Settings, look for Hidden Files and Folders option -> Select Do not show hidden files and folders -> press OK

Step 2:
Now whichever folder (locked or un-locked) you want to hide, follow the process,

Right click on folder (whichever wish to be hidden) -> Properties -> General (it opens in this tab only) -> Under Attributes category -> check Hidden option -> press OK

thats it, the folder will not be visible, If you again wish to see the folder,
a) Follow the same step1, instead of selecting Do not show hidden files and folders, this time select Show hidden files and folders.
b) If you want to remove the folder from Hidden option of step1, just follow the same Step2, this time uncheck the Hidden option.

VideoCheck: the Bryan

Check out this one From my Pile of Favorites!!

the classic Bryan Adams Summer of 69' [MTV Unplugged]..

Just a piece of Recommendation!!

I'hv recently got my connectivity to Internet.. [Thnx for Technologists to Invent Broadband]. The speed is too good from Provider's side, still while using Junk Internet Explore, found it irritating with time taken to resolve the IP from DNS Server [Don't worry.. Its strictly technical stuff].

Anyway, found a better way to improve its performance, I found Mozilla Firefox browser, It amazed me with its Lightening Speed.. Check it out, you'll find the difference.

You can download the same under Download section on right side of page.

Happy Browsing!!

now I'm a Professional!!

I’m a Computer Science graduate, now working with an IT GiantLeader, I know that it doesn’t bother you much. But what I’m going to share here, It may be the same story for all other graduates too who are now a Professional!!!

Writing about being a professional is like writing a testimonial about a Life, in which this quality is being injected in the person, right from the moment He enters into…, I hope you can answer this question.

I still remember the very First day of my College, where I was taken around my ‘about to’ life, places to hang out with friends, my studies and lots more. Everyone think that it would be really a FUN, the same I felt, but wait…“It was just an Attraction” as there are number of reasons to prove it.

The very next day, I was made aware about attendance requirements of 75%, fulfilling this requirement had been such a great experience. Here at work, my Team Lead always wants me to work, work and work. I know, he would also have experienced the same attendance requirement, and He’s taking his anger out.

The days pass on, I was stumped on arrival of my sessional exams, same as I have to give tests everyday when I work.

I worked very hard to complete my Assignments and projects, I even slept very late. Here I have to work till late nights to complete the deadlines of my task.

I had to prepare presentations, to present in front of faculty and head of departments. My manager always keeping an eye on me, I need to give a presentation in front of high positioned people, will review my performance.

so I can say, just time has passed but, the way we lived still continues… I sometimes feel If my college would had not forced me to live my life like, It would have been like having my re-birth being a professional. Everything is just the same, only…

now I’m a Professional!!!

Weekends...a punch of relaxation!

Its another weekend...

In every S/W professionals life, this story is same.. When week starts we desperately wait for this "Most Important" thing in Life, but when it comes.. aah. We [Interestingly] do NOTHING apart Sleeping n' Alws Thinking the places to Hang-Out [haa.. Deciding the place itself finishes the whole time].

In last weeks, the power of Rupee over USD feared the IT industry [especially who'r doing business with Foreign clients], Indian IT companies started the JUNK discussion of Increasing the work hours [Thank God, not done yet].

Even if we don't do Anything, but at least we'r out of the daily fights of bearing the freakyy Bangalore traffic and same old job. Really after the news, I felt the importance of having weekends..

I Love my weekends!!! :D What do you say??

Finally I started writing!!

aah.. my net connection at home (which I didn't have earlier) finally has taken me to start my all time planned work.. writings!!

I must thank The talented Nikhil sir [Blog] n' my freak mind friend Abhi [Abhi's Blog], whose blog seriously made an impact on my mind to share my thoughts too.

so here I'm with my First post!!
